Andrew Huestis, age 34, of Portland, Tennessee, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
Andrew was born on March 14, 1990, in Nashville, Tennessee, to his parents Dennis and Celine Huestis.
Andrew was charismatic, charming, and confident. All of which complimented his musical talent and ability to entertain. Music was his passion. He was a master drummer, and skilled in playing both the acoustic and electric guitar. Andrew was a member of the Musicians Guild of Nashville and had the opportunity to record a percussion segment in the song, ‘Black Cadillac’ by Carrie Underwood.
Andrew graduated from Portland High School in the Class of 2008. Following graduation, he worked as a server and bar tender at the Brickyard Café, and the Mint Gaming Hall, in Franklin, Kentucky. Which was perfectly suited for his energetic and high-spirited personality.
Andrew also loved to golf and fish. He will be missed dearly by his family and many friends.
Andrew Dennis Huestis is survived by his father, Dennis Roy Huestis; mother, Celine Theresa (Clark) Huestis; son, Ashton Brewer; sister, Skylar (Huestis) Baltazar (Juan Baltazar); brother, Nicholas Huestis (Jordan Huestis); nephews, Grayson Huestis and Jensen Huestis; grandfather, Wayne Clark; his sweet heart, Natalie Morgan; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Suzanne Clark; paternal grandparents, Merton and Alma Huestis; and niece, Riley Huestis.
All funeral services will be conducted at Generation Church, located 960 Highway 52 W, Portland, TN 37148, on Saturday, June 1, 2024.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M., until 2:00 P.M.. The memorial service in honor of Andrew Huestis will take place at 2:00 P.M., officiated by Bro. Juan Baltazar.
