Anthony DuPont Obituary
Anthony Carl DuPont, born on July 6, 1958, in Okinawa, Japan, passed away on June 9, 2025, in Covington, Louisiana after a long medical fight at the age of 66. He was a beloved son, father, brother, grandfather, and friend.
Growing up, Anthony developed a love for gatherings and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He was always up for some cold beer and never missed an opportunity to party. One of his favorite activities was watching the Saints, and he often found joy in sitting on the patio, soaking in the company around him. He also worked for Laitram Machinery for over 30 years.
Anthony is survived by his loving wife of over 44 years, Paula Ditcharo DuPont, his daughter Keri DuPont Smakaj and her husband Edison, his son Corey DuPont and his wife Hillary, as well as his brothers John "Doug" Douglas, Paul Dennis, and Robert P. DuPont. He treasured his grandchildren Bryce, Kaleigh, Mia, Mya, Percy, Inara, and Izabella.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Carl DuPont, and mother, Roberta Burchett DuPont.
Anthony's spirit will be remembered by all who knew him, and he will be missed dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
