Mrs. King was born on January 10, 1952 in Griffin, Ga. She was the daughter of the late John and Janie Mae Middlebrooks Hunter. She retired after many years of service for the State of Georgia. She was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Milner. Mrs. King will be remembered for her love for the Lord and enjoying life to the fullest. She especially loved to fish, have fun with her family and friends, and the evening fire outside at "the pit".
She is survived by her partner of 27 years, Patricia Spoon; children, David King, Tabatha Couch, Patrick King, Ramone King, Monica Goodman; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Terri and Eddie Wright; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
Memorial services for Mrs. Barbara Ann King will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Charles Dumas will officiate. The family will visit with friends following the service at the funeral home.
