Brad Bailey Hall passed away suddenly March 22, 2023 in San Antonio, TX at the age of 71.
Brad is survived by his wife, Mandana Hall, her son, Jordan Mansour (wife Caitlyn), his son, Clint Hall (wife Elaine) and daughter, Kathryn Vuicich (husband Nick), and their mother, Carol Hall (to whom he was married for 39 years). He also leaves behind three wonderful grandchildren Martin, Philip, and Elyse. Brad is preceded in death by his parents, John R. Hall Jr. and Anna Ruth Hall and his brothers, Bobby Hall and Mark Hall.
Brad was born in Lubbock, Texas on November 16, 1951. Growing up Brad was active in many sports and earned the honor of Eagle Scout. He graduated in 1970 from Monterey High School in Lubbock, where he was class president and played football. Brad attended Texas Tech University and went on to Texas Tech Medical School where he was also class president and graduated in 1977. He did his medical residency at the esteemed Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. After his medical fellowship in Toronto, Canada, he was privileged to become an orthopedic spine surgeon on staff at the Mayo Clinic.
In 1983 Brad and his family moved back to Texas where he was a celebrated orthopedic spine surgeon with a successful practice for many years. After retiring from surgery, Brad obtained his MBA in Healthcare Administration from University of Colorado, Denver and went on to serve in various hospital administration roles. Brad was also an excellent teacher, instructing orthopedic residents for over 30 years. Brad's wisdom and insight led him to serve in numerous leadership roles. He finished his career at the Texas Diabetes Institute - University Health System as the Medical Director, retiring from a lifetime of medical practice in 2021.
Brad spent a significant amount of time in Horseshoe Bay where he loved golfing, being on the lake, and spending time with friends. His golf career reached its height in 2006 with a hole-in-one on the 13th hole of Slick Rock.
Brad met and fell in love with Mandana in 2015. Together they opened the Dominion Medical Spa in 2019. Life was always a party together, whether it was in Las Vegas, the Bahamas, or simply staying in San Antonio.
Brad's passing leaves a hole for everyone who knew him. His bright smile and loving presence will be missed greatly.

I was shocked and saddened to find out of the death on March 22nd of Brad Hall. Truly saddened. Somehow it just didn't seem possible that this could happen. We were not close friends but he was still someone I looked upon as a friend and I, like so many people, admired so many things about him: His intelligence, his athletic prowess, his graciousness and humble friendliness... there wasn't anything about Brad that fell short. I suspect that probably ever girl at Monterey High had a crush on him, and probably any other female on the planet that met him was similarly stricken. The guy was a complete package. Very few people on this earth get to be like Brad. What a great guy and what an admirable man. I truly am saddened to know that Brad is no longer with us, and I think the world is a lesser place now that he is gone.
