Brandon Keith Boyd
June 20, 1982 – October 3, 2025
Brandon Keith Boyd was born on June 20, 1982, to Bryan and Deborah Boyd. He departed from this life on October 3, 2025. Brandon was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, and loyal friend. His life was a reflection of faith, laughter, and love-qualities that defined every relationship he built and every endeavor he pursued.
Brandon graduated from Daingerfield High School in 2000 and went on to earn his degree from The University of Texas at Austin, class of 2005. Over the next two decades, he built a successful career as a mortgage loan officer. His entrepreneurial drive and strong work ethic later inspired him to start his own business, which he managed with dedication and pride until his passing. Brandon's warm spirit, kind heart, and radiant smile could light up any room. He had a rare gift for making others feel seen, valued, and loved. His humor, generosity, and steadfast faith left an imprint on everyone who knew him.
Brandon's greatest joy was his family, whom he loved with unwavering devotion. Whether coaching from the sidelines of countless baseball games, perfecting breakfast on a Saturday morning, or hosting family gatherings, he poured his heart into every moment. He lived fully in each role-husband, father, son, brother, and friend-with the same passion and authenticity that defined his life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Wendy Boyd; his sons, Cameron Aaron Cross and Clayton George Boyd of Cross Roads, TX; his step-sons, Isaiah and Jeremiah of Abilene, TX; his father, Bryan Boyd of Cason, TX; his mother, Deborah Boyd of Omaha, TX; his sister, Kelsi Boyd of McKinney, TX; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Though his time on earth seemed far too short, Brandon's legacy will endure through the love he gave, the laughter he inspired, and the strength of the family he built. His life reminds us all to keep Christ at the center, to cherish each day, to love deeply, and to live boldly.
