Brett M. Demlow, age 60, of Smithville, formerly of Orrville, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at his home following a brief period of declining health.
Brett was born on April 11, 1964, in Akron, Ohio, to Linda (Poholski) Demlow and the late James Demlow. He was a 1982 graduate of Orrville High School and earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of Akron.
He dedicated 15 years of his career as a Mechanical Inspector for Orrvilon, where his expertise and commitment were highly valued.
Brett was a proud member of Orrville VFW Post 3446 and the Sons and Daughters of Herman in Massillon. He had a deep love for music and attending concerts, as well as enjoying the outdoors through fishing and golfing. A devoted football fan, he especially cherished watching the Dallas Cowboys. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his son, Bradley James Demlow (Nick Campbell); mother, Linda Demlow; his brother, Sean (Wendi) Demlow; his sister, Jill Demlow; and four beloved nieces and nephews, Morgan, Aaron, Derek, and Jayden Demlow.
Brett was preceded in death by his father, James Lee Demlow; and his infant brother, Craig Demlow.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM. A service celebrating Brett's life will follow at 4:00 PM, officiated by Celebrant Kevin O'Brien.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692, or online at heart.org.
Brett will be remembered for his kind gentle soul, love of life, and the joy he brought to those around him. He will be deeply missed.
