Brian P. Keipert, 68, of Willoughby Hills, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, at his home.
Born April 9, 1956, in Cleveland, Brian had lived in Lake County for over 60 years.
Brian retired from Painesville City Schools, where he worked as a maintenance technician after 25 years of service. He was also the past president of OAPSE Local 393 for Painesville City Schools for many years. Throughout his career, Brian worked in heating, air conditioning and electrical. He took pride in coaching and watching his children and grandchildren playing sports. When he was younger, Brian worked at the family businesses, the Sunset Inn in Willoughby and the 19th Hole in Geneva-on-the-Lake. He enjoyed all his friendships and memories from those days.
He was the beloved husband of Mary Jo (nee Silvestro) Keipert; loving father of Lindsey R. Keipert, Carly (Mike) Morgan and Anthony (Tori) Keipert; cherished Poppa of Emma Jaskela, Ayden Morgan and Julian Keipert; brother of Kathleen (Jim) Maxwell and Carol (Scott) Edwards; and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Louise (nee Stary) Keipert.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 27, at the Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life service at 7:30 p.m.

Mary Jo and family, I was so sad to hear of Brian´s sudden passing. May the good times and memories bring you peace and comfort. I enjoyed and treasured all the fun times with you and Brian, RIP my friend.
