James “Jim” “Kipe” Keipert, age 74 of Brunswick, passed away on February 11, 2025.

Jim was born on October 10, 1950, in Fairview Park, Ohio to Christian and Helen (Demand) Keipert. He graduated from Brunswick High School. Jim worked as a maintenance supervisor for many years. He enjoyed fishing, his Corvette, and tinkering around the house. 

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Jim will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 29 years, Susan, children, Jamie Shupe, Greg (Jeanine) Keipert, and Derek Stofko, grandchildren, Julia (Rob) Gurcia, Nicole (Logan) West, Greg (Shannon) Keipert, Jr., Graham (Autumn) Keipert, Gaven Keipert, great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Charlotte, Paisley, Olivia, Elliot, Emmett, and Brayden, sister, Karen Keipert, niece, Stacy, and loving fur baby, Mickey. 

Friends and family may come to call on February 14, 2025 from 12-4 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Home, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim’s name to ASPCA at https://www.ASPCA.org/ or the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital at https://www.shrinerschildrens.org/en.
