Brody Taylor Loucks

Brody Taylor Loucks, age 31 of Addison, NY, passed away peacefully at his home on September 22, 2024. After many months of fighting, he won his battle against cancer and he now sits at the feet of Jesus.
Born on September 14, 1993, in Corning, New York, Brody grew up in Addison, NY and was a graduate of Addison High School, Class of 2011. He had a remarkable gift for bringing joy to those around him, with his quick wit and infectious laughter leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. Brody had an unwavering spirit and was always there to support his friends and family, reminding us all to embrace life to its fullest.
Brody is survived by his parents, Daniel and Lindy Loucks of Addison; his sister, Brittany Loucks, and her fiance, Will Huckabee of Charlotte, NC; his grandparents: Larry and Vicki Loucks of Addison, NY, Mary Ballard of Baldwinsville, NY, Kathy and Rick Ryall of Addison, NY, and Danny Fenton of Addison, NY; his uncle and aunt, Michael and Christy Cunningham of Ceresco, MI. He is also survived by close friends Karissa Flint of Addison, NY and Clinton Watson of Dunedin, FL.
He was predeceased by his aunt, Nikki Brewster; uncle, David Loucks; and step-grandfather, Lon Ballard.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Flint Funeral Home, 10 Wall Street, Addison, New York 14801. A funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 PM with Pastor Dave Bretch officiating. Burial to take place in the family plot at Addison Rural Cemetery.
In the many months of his battle with cancer Brody was blessed with the greatest care team members, Kelly, Katelyn, Bethany, and Tara. He and his family are forever grateful for them. In lieu of flowers, donations in Brodys name may be made to CareFirst, 3805 Meads Creek Rd, Painted Post, NY 14870.
Brody will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his vibrant spirit and the joy that he brought into all of our lives.
