Charles E. Bevier, Jr., 32, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, after a courageous seven year battle with Leukemia. He was born in Adrian, MI on September 17, 1992. He attended Raymer Elementary and Waite High School. Charles was a great storyteller and was known for his never-ending stories. He enjoyed playing the Xbox, but his number one joy, first and foremost, was always his three children. He was deeply loved by his large extended family and will be missed more than words can express.
He is survived by his children, Rozalyn, Stella and Xavier Bevier; mother, Jennifer (Roberts) Rodriquez; siblings, Edmund (Alisa) Rodriquez Jr., Samantha (Steve) Hendricks, Brittany (Jeffrey) Rodriquez, Samuel (Marysa) Rodriquez, Marcus (Beverly) Bevier, Mariah (Albert) Cisneros, Ashley Rodriquez, Alana Gill, Anthony (Hannah) Rodriquez, Masimino Rodriquez, Damien (Lexie) Rodriquez, Jacob Rodriquez, Emily (Miklo) Rodriquez, and Erica Rodriquez; as well as many extended family members. Charles is preceded in death by his father, George Hendricks; sister, Chelsey Hendricks; and his grandparents.
The family would like to extend a special honorable mention to Edmund Rodriquez, Sr., Donna Hendricks, and the Mason Street moms Dawn Sheppard and Loretta Hannah, for their help in raising Charles like one of their own through the years. They are also forever grateful to everyone who has been there for Charles during his time of need over the years.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 2:00pm – 8:00pm at Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 W. Sylvania Ave.
