Charles G. Geiger, age 51, of Greene Township, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023, at St. Vincent Health Center, after a courageous battle with cancer. Charles was born in Erie, on January 9, 1972, a son of the late Clemons E. and Leona F. Richards Geiger.
Chuck graduated from Harborcreek High School in 1990 and earned his Master Electrician Certification from E.I.T. He was the owner/operator of Geiger Electric, LLC for the last 18 years. Chuck enjoyed hunting, camping, kayaking, fishing, and gardening. He especially enjoyed moving dirt around with his excavator. Chuck was a Penn State, Pens, Packers, and Harborcreek Huskies hockey fan. He loved playing with his dog, Sadie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Natalie Ann Oleson Geiger; his mother-in-law, Sally Oleson; and his dear friend, Debbie Johnson.
Survivors include his children Chase Edward and Ella LeAnn Geiger, both at home; his two brothers, Edward Geiger (Tammy), Joseph Geiger (Jennifer Hoffman), both Erie; his three sisters, Rita Geiger, Margaret McDaniels, and Anne Slupski (Mike), all of Erie; his significant other, Trina Sherry, of McKean; his stepchildren, Logan and Lakin Lutch; his father in law, Neil Oleson (Bonnie) of Erie; his sister-in-law, Carrie Haynes (Paul); his brother-in-law, Matthew Oleson (April); his dog, Sadie; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. and are invited to services there the following afternoon at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
