Charlotte Browning, lovingly known as “Sue” to family and friends, was born on April 24th, 1958, to Harold and Shelby Garten. She was a Whetstone High School graduate class of ‘76. Charlotte gained her wings on November 30th, 2023. She later in life attended high street Baptist church, until her health would no longer allow. Charlotte loved her family and friends and would help anyone in need. She listened attentively without judgement and gave sound advice. Charlotte found a passion for crocheting and gardening as well as a great love for animals. Although we are well grieved, we take comfort in knowing she is reunited with loved ones who precede her in death. By her mother and father Shelby and Harold Garten, her brothers Michael and Frank Garten and grandson Eric Bell. Charlotte leaves to honor her life: Daughters: Andrea (Kendal) Huff, Amanda (the late Devin Jones Sr) Browning, Brothers: Richard Garten and Karl(Jan) Meade, Grandchildren: Andrew, Thomas, Matheu Huff and Devaun Jones, Fiancé: Randy Norman, Bonus Sons: Allen, Mike Noah, Brian Norman and children, Special friend of 50 plus years: Ann Fitchpatric, along with a host of family and friends. Charlotte will be well remembered.
