Christopher Barnhill Obituary
Chris was born on August 3, 1975 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Katie Middleton Barnhill and Jimmy Dale Barnhill and passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023 in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Chris was a resident of Lafayette. He graduated from Southwood High School in 1994 where he was an outstanding football player. He graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he was a member of the TKE Fraternity. Chris spent his career as an engineer. He was witty, comical, talkative, and fun to be around. He loved sports, history, hunting and spending time with his family, especially his daughter, and friends.
Chris is preceded in death by his mother, Katie Middleton Barnhill. Left to cherish his memory are: his daughter, Eva Marie Barnhill; his father, Jimmy D. Barnhill; his brother, Jonathan Barnhill and wife Melanie; his niece, Anna Barnhill Harrison and husband Trent; and his former wife and the mother of his child, Jayna Clark Barnhill.
Honoring Chris as pallbearers will be Russell Barnhill, Michael Barnhill, Tim Batts, James Flurry, Randall Johnson, Trent Harrison, Randall Ahrabi and Jim Andrepont. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Timothy Crump.

I am so very sad at the loss of Chris. I have very few memories as a kid where Chris, Jamie, Randall, Jackie and/or Billy were not torturing this older sister! I think it was intricately planned out each day! And I loved them all as if they were all my kid brothers! Chris was always smiling and laughing with and at me! But I know that later, when we would bump into each other, he remembered the fun and loved me back in his own way. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends who have great menories to share as well. Our family certainly will always love him as our own!
