Clifford J. Cassou Jr.

Clifford J. Cassou Jr., age 74, of Bush, LA died in his home 3 August 2022. A native of St. Bernard parish, he was a retired Stillman in the oil industry and a retired Marine Corps GYSGT of 20 years. He was a Vietnam veteran who served two tours earning the Navy Commendation with Valor for combat action and a two time Purple Heart recipient. He was preceded in death by his wife Lavonne Cassou, father Clifford J. Cassou Sr., mother Gladys Allison Cassou, brother Paul Cassou and sisters Cheryl and Ann Cassou. Survivors include his brother Eddie Cassou, His three children Sammy Cassou, Helen Tedesco, and Sonya Plauche, stepchildren Corey Morgan and Chad Busby, his grand children Daniel and Zachary Cassou, Angel Calder, Bim and Dekker Jordan, Chloe, Joshua, Lyla Morgan, Katie and AJ Busby, and Madison Plauche.
He was happiest when surrounded by the joy and laughter of family and friends. He was beloved by all that knew him and will be missed. There will be a small gathering of close family and friends to be announced
