Cynthia "Cindy" Johnson Lauderdale, age 58, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at her home. Cindy was born June 6, 1965 in Anderson, Indiana moving to Tennessee when she was 12 and graduated from Harriman High School. She later went on to go into the nursing program at Roane State to become an LPN. She found out she was pregnant with her first and only baby girl, Veronica and had her September 10, 1993. Being a Mother was the most important thing to her from capturing the countless photos, to being a provider, a nurturer, and a daughter's first best friend. She and her daughter spent their lives together exploring waterfalls, sunsets and so many other unforgettable moments. Throughout her years of working she become disabled to Multiple Sclerosis yet still continued accomplishing things in her career in Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama. She was widowed by Steve Lauderdale, the love of her life. Cindy loved her nursing career and had endless compassion for her patients. She spent countless moments of her life providing care for people in need. She never met a stranger and was always ready to help someone. Her undying love and need to help others continued throughout her journey in life. Cindy girl had a life full of accomplishments and made her family very proud. She was invincible, a warrior, a fighter with a contagious laugh and smile. Her constant gratifications, smile and laughter will forever be remembered and cherished by so many people. She was survived by her daughter, Veronica Reagan Adkisson; her four siblings, Elena Mutter, Virgil Johnson, Grant Johnson, and Shelly McCall. She is also survived by several extended family members and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 12:00 – 1:00 pm, Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Fraker Funeral Home with funeral service following at 1:00 pm in the chapel. Interment will follow at Willard Park Cemetery in Harriman. Online register book can be signed at www.frakerfuneralhome.net. Fraker Funeral Home of Kingston is in charge of all the arrangements.
