DALTON ERIC CULLISON, a beacon of light and joy, passed away at the age of 28 on December 18, 2023, in Physician's Regional Hospital in Naples, FL after a valiant struggle with complications due to Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Born on July 30, 1995, in Tampa, Florida Dalton's infectious laughter and boundless optimism enriched the lives of all who knew him.
Dalton attended Golden Gate High School in Naples, FL where he participated in the ARMY JROTC program and graduated in 2013. He worked at Goodwill Industries. Dalton also worked with the State of Florida Vocational Rehab department and learned how to drive a car in spite of his disabilities. Dalton was involved in many local charities, such as the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the National Letter Carriers Association, he volunteered at New Hope Ministries.
Dalton was a beloved son of his devoted parents, Ginger & Mark Dussault, and was lovingly supported by his brothers, Ryan K Laughridge, Dylan (Miranda) Cullison, and Darrin Cullison Jr.(Natalie), his sisters, Amanda Edwards & Ashley Dussault, Darrin Cullison, his uncles, John (Deanna) S. Cox & Randall W. Cox, Dan (Louise) Cullison & Dean (Patricia) Cullison, aunts Nefra C. (Gary) Reece and Donna Hendricks & his maternal grandmother, Roseann Leith Jackson and paternal grandmother Vickie Lewis, as well as many cousins. His loving daily companions included his canine assistant of 11 years, Tulip, and his rescue dogs, Louis & Jazzie, who each brought him immense joy and companionship.
Funeral Service will be held at
New Hope Ministries located at 7675 Davis Blvd. Naples, FL 34104
on January 6, 2024, at 10:30 am
with Pastor Grant Thigpen officiating.
Dalton cremation was handled by Legacy Options, LLC.
All are invited to gather for Fellowship after the funeral at Outback Steakhouse located at the corner of Collier Blvd (951) & Immokalee Rd
