Daniel Lawrence "Danny" Moore

Daniel (Danny) Lawrence Moore, passed away unexpectedly on March 5, 2024. He was born on December 20, 1965, in Seymour, Indiana. He was the son of John L. and Dianna (Ferris) Moore who preceded him in death.
Danny graduated in 1984 from Seymour High School and attended Ball State University.
He owned and operated the North Vernon Pizza King for several years before returning to the family business, the Pizza Palace in Seymour. His creative ideas and affection for cooking helped the business enjoy many prosperous years. Danny started "Bumpers" and beach volleyball.
Danny had numerous hobbies and certainly was free spirit. Those hobbies included: golfing, car racing, traveling, cooking and most importantly spending time with his children.
He is survived by his stepmother Dena Moore; children, Charles "Charlie" Lawrence Moore, Alivia Moore, Emily Richie, Jake Richie; Stacey Joy, the mother of his children; his siblings, Amy (John) Napariu, Jonathon (Tracie) Moore, Jason's wife Kelli Moore, Carolyn (Kevin) Vonderwell, and Jason Cobble; his nieces and nephews, Stephanie, John, Zach, Jake, Logan, Skylar, Mitch, Max, and Noah; and great nephew DJ.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Jason Moore; grandparents, Lawrence and Rosemary Moore; KD, and Emaline Ferris.
Danny never met a stranger as he made everyone feel welcome and included. His smile made others smile, his laugh would make others laugh and his generosity could not be matched. In his earlier years he was always up for volleyball, lake fun, parties or just sitting on the front porch hanging out with friends. His later years included spending time with his children as they were his pride and joy. You never saw Danny without one of or all of them.
A celebration of Danny's life will be held Tuesday, March 12, at 11:00 am at Voss & Sons Funeral Services, 316 North Chestnut Street, Seymour. Reverend Teresa Poole will officiate. Friends and family may visit Monday, March 11, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm, and Tuesday, March 12, from 10:00am until the time of service. Danny will be laid to rest immediately following at Riverview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an educational and care fund for Danny's children in care of Amy Napariu.
