Darius T. Bell, 52, of Rockford, departed this life November 22, 2024. He was born February 1, 1972 to Margret Bell and Dan Williams. Darius graduated from Guilford High School and attended DeVry University in Chicago, IL. He worked at Kenco for the last 8 years. Darius was a people person and he loved his family.
Darius leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Aliea Bell; eight children, Shadarius Bell, Katelyn Bell, Kainen Holliman, Teramaine Bell, Tosha Gonzoles, King Davis, Andre and Ava Bell; mother, Magret Cash-Bell; seven step children, Derrick (Paige) Jones, Akeem (Alexis) Jack, Brian Jack, Titiana Jack, Kristiana Dunn, Michael Squalls and Johnathan Williams; five sisters, Elizabeth Bell, Demetria Williams, Kim Williams, Tetra Williams and Erika Terry; six brothers Marc Bell, Tracy (Alicia) Bell, Terry (Tina) Bell, Corey Bell, Dean (Lisa) Bell and Travis Reese; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends, including former wife and mother of three of his children, Shevelia Holliman; special nephew, Marc Bell II; special cousin Damion "Cash Card" Cash; special friends, Myrion Taylor, Rico Flint, James Santoes and George (Jenny) Roach. He was predeceased by his father, Dan Williams; sisters, Jackie Brown, Bobbie Bell; brothers Debo Bell, Al Bell and Brian Bell; grandmother, Lizzie Cash.
Services will be held 12:00 noon Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Victory Outreach 832 Sanford St. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.
