Darlene Baker Houston, 79, of Easley, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2022.
Born on December 13, 1942 in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Josephine Key Baker.
Darlene was a 1961 graduate of Carolina High School. She was a member of Westview Baptist Church. She worked for 36 years for AT&T until her retirement. Over the years, Darlene connected with many people and made many friends. She was a wonderful caregiver to her mother, and two special aunts.
She is survived by a brother, Don Baker (Lynda) of Winter Springs, Fl.; and numerous cousins.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 15,2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest, with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Northwest Chapel. Burial will be held in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westview Baptist Church, c/o Kris Bryant, 126 Oak Wind Circle, Greer, SC 29651 or to Alzheimer's Association, 123 W Antrim Dr, Greenville, SC 29607, www.alz.org.
