Darrell L. Richardson, 76, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. He was born in Crab Orchard, WV; but, moved to Rock Falls, IL early in his childhood. He graduated from Rock Falls High School, then attended Northern Illinois University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in 1973.

After graduation, he began his professional career in the Engineering Dept. for the Joseph Schlitz Co./Stroh Brewing Co. - Container Division for 18 years. Then worked at the Henkel Corporation, where he retired after 12 years of service as Business Director - Container Group. 

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, Fayette and Ruth (Hicks) and brothers Donnie and Danny Richardson and sister, Myra Craft. 

He is survived by his loving wife Judee Richardson (Oehrle) of Crestwood, KY, his sons Drew Richardson (Richard) of Chicago, IL, Richard Walsh (Jennifer) of Richmond, KY, sister Debbie Myers (Duane) of Rock Falls, IL, siser-in-law Sue Richardson; and grandchildren: Brennan Walsh, Kylie Shuler (Darren), Taylor King, Kennedy and Hayden Stevenson.

Darrell enjoyed fishing and often vacationing anywhere there was lots of sun and beautiful white sand beaches.
