We remember Darwyn as a cheerful, caring man. We're so glad to have known him over the years. He believed in making a difference, and he did in so many ways. He set an example for us all. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Guler family, Ray & Char

Papa G,
I want to Thank You for all of your Friendship and Love. In some challenging times in the past years, I always knew that you supported me, had my back and was in my court.
My Dad passed away 4 years ago and it seemed to me that you picked up the baton and were a Father figure to me for what seems now to be too short. We shared great conversations and laughs. I enjoyed our discussions about Fishing, History, the Cubs and the Bears (most recently about the Greatest Bears Linebackers). We agreed on them all. What a Treasured moment it was to have our family meet Ernie Banks a few Years back celebrating your 70th Birthday!
I am very Grateful and Blessed to have spent Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day in ´21 up at Crooked Lake in Oxford at the Lakehouse that you so Loved. During those 3 weekends I enjoyed family and 1 on 1 time with you Fishing, Enjoying the Sweet Smell of your Pipe (just like my Dad) and talking in general. You showed us who was Boss in terms of fishing. One time I was amazed at the amount of Bluegills you caught in a short period of time. Thanks for allowing our Dog Banks on the Boat. He loved Fishing with you as well-even when you called him "she" all the time! On all of those weekends, on Countless occasions you would look out over the Lake (sometimes on the Pontoon) out on your manicured lawn or from the porch and comment on the Beauty of your place, Nature or the Sunset. The last time we sat together up there it was just you and I under the Porch. Again, I will forever remember those moments.
I like you Have Faith in God and believe that there is an After Life. It makes me feel very comfortable that you are now in a Peaceful place. I believe that you are up in Heaven and no doubt shared a Pint with my Dad this past Thursday celebrating St. Patrick´s Day.
You are, and Will be Missed Dearly,
Love,
Sean
