David Jenkins Obituary
Born February 13, 1958 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Earl J. and Ora E. (Layne) Jenkins.
David lived a full life. Successfully completing a BS from Temple University and a master's degree in engineering from Drexel University, he worked as a civilian for the US Navy for several years before becoming part owner to an innovative company creating software for the railroad industry. He traveled extensively for both work related and personal reasons. A devoted father, brother and fiercely loyal friend, he will be missed by many and remembered by more.
Survivors include his son, Sean E. Jenkins; former wife of 25 years, Patricia (Shirar) Jenkins; three siblings, Mary Jenkins (Frank Nophut), Earl J. Jenkins, Jr. (Geraldine), and Diane E. Purdy; and four nieces and nephews, Ian Jenkins, Brian Jenkins, Brittany Barber, Nichole Parent.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 10:00 am until the celebration of life service at 11:00 am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.), New Britain. Interment will be held privately. Send Flowers And Gifts
