David "Erny" Poynter, 41, of Fort Howard, MD, passed away due to natural causes at his residence on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
He was born on September 27, 1983, in East Liverpool, the son of the late Clayton and Penny Sullivan Poynter.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Terrence R. Poynter.
Erny graduated from Beaver Local High School in 2001 and continued his education at the University of Toledo, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business. He was employed at Vulcan Hart as a Global Sourcing Manager.
Erny was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was known for his intelligence and quick wit, often making clever remarks. While he enjoyed traveling, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Julie Eversman Poynter; their children, Madison, Natalie, Hailey, and Jacob; his brother, Eric Poynter, and his wife, Maecy, of Austintown; his nephews, Tyler, Caleb, and Mason Poynter; his nieces, Kayla Keenan (Dan) and Penny Poynter; as well as his Uncle Randy and Aunt Debbie Sullivan Murphy, and cousin Randy Lee Murphy (Renee). He will also be missed by his three dogs, Pop, Bailey and Lenny.
Private services were held at the family's convenience. The arrangements were entrusted to the Arner Funeral Chapel.
