Donald Ray Earles Jr., 58, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025. He was born on December 18, 1966, in Winchester, MA, son of the late Mary F. (Eddins) Earles and Donald R. Earles.
Raised in Concord, MA, Don graduated from Concord-Carlisle High School with the Class of 1985. He went on to earn his bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, and later received his master's degree from Indiana University.
Don was a true athlete in school excelling at any sport he took on. In 1990, he was recognized for outstanding contributions both on and off the field and was inducted into his college's Lacrosse Hall of Fame retiring his jersey number '1' forever.
Don's professional career was both diverse and rewarding. He spent many years in medical sales and consulting, specializing in medical devices, earning accolades in the clinical research department and was formerly employed with Salient Surgical, which later became Medtronic through acquisition. More recently, he found great fulfillment working as a hunting and fishing guide in Indiana and in Saskatchewan, Canada. Even after semi-retirement, he continued to share his expertise in the medical field when he was able through his consulting business DRESurgical LLC.
Throughout his life, Don lived in many places-including South Carolina, Texas, and Indiana-but he eventually called New Hampshire home. South Carolina always held a special place in his heart, and he often spoke of spending his golden years there. A man of faith, Don was a devoted member of the United Methodist Church in Hampton, NH, where he was actively involved.
Don's passions were wide-ranging. He loved hunting and fishing, visiting East Coast Archery in Salisbury, and listening to country music. He was happiest outdoors or with his loyal dogs, Goose and Hope, and he deeply cherished the time he shared with his beloved partner, Deborah Williams.
Don is survived by his partner, Deborah; his sister, Catherine "Trina" Turer and her husband, Eric; his brother, Patrick Earles and his wife, Lisa; his sister, Renny Sybert; as well as many friends and extended family who will miss him dearly.
A service to celebrate Don's life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the United Methodist Church in Hampton, NH.
