WEBER, Donald L. – of Montrose, age 78, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, August 22, 2025. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Montrose. Rev. Fr. Brian Lenz officiating. Interment with full military honors will take place at 3PM that afternoon at Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose on Tuesday from 3PM until 8PM, and at the church on Wednesday from 10AM until the time of Mass at 11AM. A Rosary will be prayed at 7PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home by the
Knights of Columbus.
Donald was born on March 8, 1947, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Lawrence and Ann (Sutter) Weber. He graduated from Clio High School with the class of 1966. Don married Gloria Pringle on April 20, 1968. He dedicated 30 years to General Motors, before retiring as a tool maker. A proud Veteran, Don served in the Army National Guard for 6 years. He was a founding father of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Montrose where he took on many roles, including sacristan, Eucharistic minister, and usher - along with being a member of the Knights of Columbus – Good Shepherd Council 8669.
Surviving are: Wife, Gloria Weber; Children: Elizabeth "Beth" (Thomas) Anonick, David Weber, Michael (Christine) Weber, and Mary Weber (Jeff Albrecht); Grandchildren: Christian Weber, Joshua Anonick, Matthew Davies, Megan (Garrett) Murphy, Paige Anonick, Alexander Davies, and Mitchell Anonick; Great grandchildren: Rollin Weber, Garrett Weber, and Charlotte Murphy; Sister, Genevieve Almassy; Brother, Ralph (Delores) Weber. Don was also preceded in death by: Brothers: Charles Weber, and Richard Weber; Sister, Kathleen Chapman; Sister-in-law, Barbara Pringle.
