Donna Faye Cobb, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025, in Lakeland, Florida, surrounded by her loving family. Born Donna Faye Roberts on March 13, 1941, in Ft. Meade, Florida, to Gladys Roberts, she lived a life filled with faith, family, and quiet strength.
Donna graduated from Lakeland High School in 1959 and embarked on a career with GTE as a switchboard operator in the historic Verizon building. Her dedication and gentle nature were evident in all her endeavors. Throughout her life, Donna found solace and community in her faith, attending Parkview Baptist Church and later becoming a member of The Lakes Church in Lakeland. She was a devout Christian woman whose unwavering faith guided her life and provided her with a sure hope for the future.
Donna was predeceased by her loving husbands, Billy Dickerson and Jerry Cobb. She is survived by her two cherished children, Carla Davis (Rodney) and Luke Dickerson; three beloved grandchildren, Clark, Billy, and Mary; and four cherished great-grandchildren,Cole, Austin, Helayna, and Madison. Her family was the center of her world, and her love for them was immeasurable.
Donna will be remembered not only for her kindness and gentle spirit but also for her unwavering faith and the deep love she shared with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will forever be a blessing.
