Doris Was a very active member of St. Aloysius on Payne Street up until it's closure. She was always the perfect hostess for family thanksgiving and Christmas dinners and she loved her Sunday lunches with her family.
She was preceded in death by spouse of 65 years, Joseph (Junie) Meffert and her son David Meffert.
Doris is survived by her daughter Karen Evans (Larry), daughter in law Janis Meffert, her grandchildren, Becca Meffert (Meme Ratliff) Jessica McFadden (Matthew), Scott Brown and Ben Evans, great grandchildren, Breigh and Fiona McFadden, William Titlow, Devin, Joshua and Olivia Evans and her long-time friend, Dorothy Woodard. She lived a full and wonderful life and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Visitation for Doris will be held from 2-6 PM on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Bosse Funeral Home, 1355 Ellison at Barret Avenues. Graveside services will be held at her final resting place, Calvary Cemetery and will be private.
Memorial gifts may be made to Hosparus.
