Drew Fassler Obituary
Drew A. Fassler, a beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, friend, passed away on July 29, 2024, in McCook, NE. He was born on March 26, 1996, in North Platte, NE.
Drew led a vibrant life filled with diverse experiences and passions. He graduated from McCook High School in 2014 and went on to be a skydiving instructor in Tennessee and Georgia before becoming a skilled Journeyman Electrician at IES Electrical in Holdrege, NE. Drew's adventurous spirit shone through his love for skydiving and spending time hunting coyotes with his father. He also cherished moments at the hunting cabin and bonding over car repairs with his Grandpa Lapp.
In his free time, Drew found joy in the company of his faithful companion Lola, his dog. His hobbies included exploring the skies while skydiving and creating lasting memories with friends and family.
Drew will be dearly missed by his surviving family and friends including his father Dee (Kristie) Fassler of Culbertson, NE; mother Tangie (Dirk) Dinnel of Wauneta, NE; brothers, Dunncan Fassler of Kearney, NE and Liam Dinnel of Wauneta, NE; sisters Jasmine Fassler of McCook, NE and Lilly Dinnel of Wauneta, NE; grandparents Lloyd and Karen Lapp of Hamlet, NE; grandmother Carla Fassler of Culbertson, NE; uncle Danny Fassler; uncle Doni (Erica) Fassler; aunt Darr (Brent) Stehno; aunt Heidi (Oscar) Black; godson Maverick Hoffman; niece Adalynnn Nickell; nephew Lane Nickell; cousins, Stephen, Kendall, Kayson (JoAnna) Fassler, Jared, Mackenzie Morlenson, Alex, Emily, Chloe, Izzy, Kinsley Stehno, Blake Nickerson, Jay, Olivia, Nathan, Elizabeth Black, and Raith Fassler; and numerous friends and extended family.
Drew is preceded in death by his grandfather Kim Fassler, baby Andi/Andy Fassler and best friend and brother Andy Conley.
Memorials, in lieu of flowers, are suggested in Drew's name to be designated later by family.
A public visitation will be held at Carpenter-Breland Funeral Home McCook, NE on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Carpenter-Breland Funeral Home McCook, NE starting at 11:00 AM with Bruce Lester officiating.
