A funeral service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church on Monday, August 18, 2025 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at church cemetery. Reverend Raymond Latty and Reverend Johnny Latty will be officiating the service. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, August 17, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Mr. Poole is preceded in death by his parents; son, Christopher Gene Poole; and several siblings.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Poole of Gainesville, GA; daughter, Lynn Duke of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, Lacey Hood (Matt) of Gainesville, GA, Dylan Duke of Gainesville, GA; great-grandchildren, Jentry and Fenley Hood of Gainesville, GA; and many other loving friends and family.
Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Drive, Gainesville, Georgia 30504 is in charge of the arrangements.
