Eddie Joe Syfrett passed away June 18, 2025, in Blountstown FL. Eddie was Born December 15, 1950, to Ed and Essie Syfrett of Blountstown FL. He was proceeded in death by his mother Essie Syfrett his father Ed Syfrett, a Daughter Shereen Shuler, a brother Billy "Buck" Bryant and a sister Lillie Boris. Eddie Joe was a hard worker. He worked fish baiting in the morning and came home to work in his mother's bait shop in the afternoons. He worked on a dredge boat. Then he worked for K. P. Green Logging and was one of the best buncher men around. Then went into telecommunication for a little while. He also worked at Walmart and then went to help his sister in storage units. He is survived by three Sons Eddie Syfrett of Bristol, James and Jessica Syfrett of Bristol, Randy and Cryl Smith of Quincy. One son-in-law Mike Shuler of Blountstown. Five Sisters Louise Flanders of Blountstown, Patsy Foreman of Blountstown, Deaner Davis of Blountstown, Carolyn Bright of Wakulla, Margie Sims of Tallahassee. Six Granddaughters and three Grandsons, several nieces and nephews and one special nephew Billy Joe Bryant. Funeral services will be held Saturday June 21, 2025, at 10:00 am CT at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel. All arrangements are under the direction of Peavy Funeral Home of Blountstown FL.
