With heartfelt sadness, we announce the passing of Edward Comeaux on March 12, 2025, at the age of 97. He was a loving and devoted husband, daddy, pops, and great pops to all whose lives he touched.
Edward was born in Welsh to Damond Comeaux and Ella Broussard Comeaux on February 15, 1928. Edward served his country honorably in the Army during the Korean War. He retired from the Firestone Plant after 30 years of service.
He loved to play golf. His passion was taking his grandchildren, Mitchell and Misty golfing. Edward (Pops) and Mitchell spent many special hours on the course together.
He is survived by his daughter Penny McFatter (George), his grandson Mitchell McFatter (Carla), his granddaughter Misty Thibodeaux (Cody), his great grandchildren, Brock, Levi, and Maddox.
Edwards' warmth and devoted kindness left an unforgettable mark on the lives of his daughter (Penny), grandchildren (Mitchell and Misty) and great grandchildren (Brock, Levi and Maddox). He will be remembered for his dedication to love for his family and gentle strength. Our Pops was an Angel.
Edward was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lena T. Comeaux, his parents, five brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be Monday, March 17, 2025, beginning at 10:00AM and lasting until the funeral service time of 11:00AM.
