Elaine M. Scott (nee Kammer), age 97, a Naperville resident since 1981, formerly of Brookfield, WI, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Tabor Hills Healthcare Facility, Naperville. She was born on October 23, 1927, in Chicago, IL.
Beloved wife of the late Ralph J. Scott, whom she married on June 3, 1950 and who preceded her in death on May 4, 1981, loving mother of Robert J. Scott of Kansas City, MO and the late Mary Jeanette Scott, adored grandmother of Kyle Scott, Daniel (Jessica) Hamm and Michael (Mary) Scott, cherished great-grandmother of Courtlyn Scott and Harper Scott; Isabella Wilson, Harrison Wilson, Oliver Wilson and Reese Hamm; Evelyn Scott, Archer Scott and Ethan Scott, devoted daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (nee Biedermann) Kammer, dear sister of Jeanette (the late Steve) Zeleznjak of Batavia, IL, the late Raymond (the late Patricia) Kammer, the late Marcile (Eugene) Wagner and the late Therese (the late Joseph) Bender, dear aunt, great-aunt, great-great aunt, great-great-great aunt and friend of many.
Elaine grew up in Chicago and Lombard, IL. She attended Sacred Heart Grade School, Lombard and Glenbard High School in Glen Ellyn, IL.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, 3:00-4:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.
A celebration of Elaine's life will follow on Saturday, 4:00 PM in the funeral home with Fr. John Regan officiating.
Future Inurnment: Naperville Cemetery, Naperville, IL.
