Eloisa Fermina Trujillo Bean
Eloisa Fermina Trujillo Bean died November 9, 2021, at her home in Farmington, Utah with her two daughters by her side.
Eloise was born on November 26, 1934, in Manassa, Colorado to Frederico Trujillo and Simonita Miera as the third of seven children. As a single mother of five children, she obtained an associate's degree from Weber State University and worked as a civilian aircraft mechanic at Hill Air Force Base until her retirement.
Her example of independence and perseverance have always been an example to those around her. Eloise was a very talented crocheter, and the many beautiful blankets she made over the years will be enjoyed by her children and grandchildren forever. She was an avid hunter, and a great shot. She developed a love of golf, and if she wasn't out in the woods hunting, she could be found on the green.
Eloise was proud of her Hispanic heritage and found joy in teaching her kids and grandkids to cook delicious meals.
Eloise was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served a mission for The Church in Atlanta, Georgia in 1996.
Eloise was proud of her five children, Scott Joseph Horrocks of Syracuse, Utah, Frank Bradly Horrocks, deceased, Mark Richard Horrocks of Seattle, Washington, Jeri Ann Littrell of Rushville, Indiana, and Rebecca Huffaker of Farmington, Utah. She is survived by her 15 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son Bradly, her great-grandson Trevor (Kennon Horrocks), and her great-granddaughter Olivia Lorraine (Shawn & Megan Horrocks).
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Lakeview Hospice, Suzy's Senior Companions, Chris & Darryl Snyder, Olivia King, and Krista Norton for their dedication and love for Eloise during her final years.
A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, November 22, 2021, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Farmington North Stake Center, 729 W. 1275 N. Farmington, Utah 84025.
