Frank Alexander Obituary
Frank Anthony Alexander passed away peacefully on July 21, 2024 at the age of 73 following a brief struggle with a sudden illness. Frank was a Bethlehem boy his entire life, born and raised. He is the husband of Donna Rose (Cosentino). They would have celebrated 40 years of marriage in November. He is the son of the late Clayton Alexander and Helen (Yakim) Sabol; and stepparents, Jeanne Alexander and Larry Sabol.
Frank graduated from Freedom High School, Class of 1969. He was the first graduating class of the new school, and helped develop the school logo which is still used today. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish a successful career in construction and real estate investments. Frank was the owner and operator of Anthony Builders/Anthony Construction which just celebrated 50 years in business this past Spring. He has designed and built magnificent homes and commercial buildings all over the Valley and New Jersey. His leadership and dedication to excellence were evident in whatever he did. He was elected President of the Lehigh Valley Home Builders Association five times. Frank was involved in committees at the local vocational schools, recruiting students to learn the construction trade. He was most proud of his numerous "Best Home of the Year" awards. He was also the proud owner and operator of the Freemansburg Storage Depot that he built from the ground up.
Beyond his professional achievements, Frank was a faithful member of St. Thomas U.C.C. in Bethlehem where he married his wife, Donna, and regularly attended weekly sermons most of his life. Frank was generous and available to help anyone in need. He loved to send birthday cards to the entire family and never missed a one. Frank's love for his family was undeniable and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Frank's memory will be lovingly cherished by his wife, Donna, and his daughters, Traci Pizzo and her husband David of Freemansburg; and Danica Brazaitis and her husband Glen of Mesa, AZ; and a son, Kevin Shows and his wife Ingrid of Mesa, AZ. He is known as Pop Pop to his grandsons, Wesley Garr and his wife Camryn; and Alexander Garr and his fiancé Hazel; and Papa Frank to Joseph and Nicholas Shows. He found great joy in his grandchildren's accomplishments and adventures. Frank also had seven Lhasa Apso dogs throughout the years that he loved and enjoyed.
Frank is survived by his siblings whom he shared a lifetime of memories. They will miss his warmth and guidance: sister, Deb Boehm and her husband Roy of Bethlehem; sister, Roxanne Felli and her husband Louis of Myerstown; and brother, Danny Alexander and his wife Lisa of Lebanon.
Frank's favorite pastimes were watching television in his theater room, floating on a raft in his pool, sitting on a beach with a Piña colada, and watching golf on the sofa where he would often be caught napping. He loved his big, red Hummer truck and the freedom of riding his trike motorcycle whenever he had the opportunity. Frank loved relaxing on the back patio of his Arizona home watching the fountain in Fountain Hills, AZ.
Frank's heart was always with his family, no matter where his travels took him. The memories created during family gatherings, holidays, and everyday moments will continue to be a source of great comfort and joy for all who knew him. Frank's absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, but those who were fortunate enough to know him will forever remember the impact he had on their lives.
Frank A. Alexander's legacy will be remembered by all, not only as a businessman and community leader, but as a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, cherished brother, and loyal friend. His life's story is one of dedication, love, and unwavering faith. He will be deeply missed by many, especially his family.
Services: A Celebration of Life will take place at 1 P.M. on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at St. Thomas U.C.C., 902 Macada Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18017. I will always remember how Frank was always cool under pressure. I will always remember the amazing houses he built. I can remember meeting him at a job site we were going to pave for him, and being totally distracted by this amazing home he built. We spent 5 minutes talking about the paving and an hour touring the house. And I will always remember him as being the biggest Three Stooges Fan I ever knew especially considering the amount of memorabilia he had in his office. Frank was always one of my favorite and most memorable customers I ever worked for. Every time I would see him he was always smiling. Thanks for the memories Frank may you rest in peace. My prayers and condolences go out to all of the family members. It is hard to loose a legend, but his memories will live on forever. Peace.

I briefly worked for Frank @Anthony Construction years ago when I graduated from high school back in 1982. Such a great guy to work for! My condolences to Donna and his family. I'm so sorry for your great loss.

Anyone who knew Frank knew what a great man he was. That smile and laugh so contagious. Our lives were blessed with his sense of humor and his talents that he shared with our fellow community of Builders and Remodelers. Peace to all who will feel his loss.

I'm so to hear of Frank's passing. Even though we haven't seen each other in many years, we were able to keep in contact through Facebook on birthdays, he always said old age sucks. Lol...54 years of knowing Frank serves me many fun and happy memories....he was true to his beliefs, and always there to help someone out. He surely will be missed by his family and friends...God bless.

I remember dinner, spaghetti. He was quite the foodie. If not properly and the wine was just off, he was a critic and painted the walls red and meatball. What a Christian he was!
