Frank J Doda, 58 of Salem passed away peacefully at Brigham and Women Hospital in Boston on Sunday October 27, 2024 after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on June 9th 1966 in Salem. Frank is the beloved son Frank C. and E. Joan (Gilligan) Doda. Graduating from Bishop Fenwick High School and then he continued his education at Northeastern University achieving a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
He was employed by GE Aviation of Lynn for over 23 years working in multiple buildings.
Frank lived his life to the fullest with his happy go lucky attitude, his smile lit up any room and a contagious laugh that no one could ever forget. His love for travel brought him to many beautiful destinations around the world. He loved spending time with his family, and friends and watching sports.
Frank took pride in being a dog dad and enjoyed taking long walks with fiancée and his dogs Suki and Brutus. He loved being a grandfather and never missed any event.
Frank is a proud brother to his sister Dolly and her husband Michael Pierzchala. A loving, devoted Fiancé to Valerie Gikas. A wonderful stepfather to Rich, Aries and Krysta. And the best Grampy to Sophia and Ayla. He is also survived by many cousins and people who loved him dearly.
Friends and Family are invited to attend a visitation at Murphy Funeral Home in Salem on Sunday, November3, 2024, from 4-8pm. His funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 4, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Peabody at 10 am. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Salem.
