Garrett Lee Byrum 31, of London Ohio, passed away on February 25, 2022. He was born November 3, 1990, in Columbus, the son of Ronnie and Carolyn Byrum.
Garrett attended Madison Plains High School. He loved playing video games with his son and letting his daughter dress him up. He was a big OSU fan and an even bigger Cincinnati Bengals fan. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and listening to his favorite rapper Jelly Roll. Garrett loved his friends and would do anything for them.
He is survived by his loving wife and high school sweetheart of 16 years Heather Byrum; Children: Alixavier and Lillian; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law: Walter and Darla Caines; Siblings: Ashley Taylor- Bryan and Tom Bryan, John Taylor and partner Brandee Schomberg, and Joe and Terry Byrum; Nieces and nephews: Khloe, Kasie, Aiden, Brandyn, and Angel; Numerous family and friends.
Friends are invited to call at the Crossroads Community Church, 2262 Oh 56, London, Sunday, March 6, 2022, from 2-4 PM. A memorial service will follow with Pastor Thad Gifford officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family by using the donation tab at the top of Garretts obituary page or by contacting Heather directly. Online condolences may be made to www.lynchfamilyfuneralhome.com.

Dear Byrum Family,
We, the families of The Compassionate Friends, send you our heartfelt condolences. The Compassionate Friends is an international grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child. Our only mission is to provide comfort, hope and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or daughter, brother or sister, or grandchild, and to help others better assist the grieving family. We meet twice monthly in Columbus from 7-9 PM on the second Tuesday and 2-4 PM on the fourth Sunday at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1479 Morse Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229. If and when you are ready to do so, please join us. We need Not Walk Alone. We are The Compassionate Friends.
