Geraldine Payne Marks

Geraldine Payne Marks, 86, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025. She was born on April 14, 1939, in Bonifay, Florida. Geraldine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert "Bobby" Marks; her children, Robert Tyrone Evans and Karen McAneny; her parents, Clarence Council Payne and Ola Mae (Marlow) (Payne) Elmore; her brother, Don Payne; her sisters, Delphia Keel and Sadie Paul; and her step-grandson, Jeffery Jones Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Janice Dominello, Deana Jones, and Melinda Noorbehesht; her son-in-law, Kourosh Noorbehesht; step-sons, Terry Marks, Steve Marks, and Dwayne Marks; brothers, Clarence C. Payne Jr. and Bobby Elmore (Alice); sister, Gerrie Allen (Keith); grandchildren, Jessie Drake, Joel Drake, Sophia Dominello, Kassie Jones, Angelina Noorbehesht, and Nicole Noorbehesht; step-grandchild, Tyler Noorbehesht; as well as great and step-grandchildren. Geraldine's heart was always full of love for her family. She found joy in fishing trips, sewing projects, cooking delicious meals, and the occasional casino adventure. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. The family will have a visitation from 10:00 - 12:00pm on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Bevis Funeral Home. The graveside service will be held at 2:00pm at Nettle Ridge Cemetery in Blountstown, Florida.
