In loving memory of Glenne Aline Sherman.
Glenne Aline Sherman went home to our Lord at the age of 51 on April 13th, 2024. She was born on April 23rd,1973, and was born and raised in Wurtsboro, NY to Glenn and Andrée Sherman.
She was a longtime resident of Sullivan County, graduated from Monticello High School, and later moved to Orange County where she raised her three children, Ryan, Brittany, and Sophia.
Glenne was talented in many industries, both in interior design and later becoming a chef. She merged her artistic flair and culinary creations to bring joy to people's celebrations through her own small catering business. Most recently, she moved to Georgia and returned to working in retail, while exploring her love for nature.
Glenne loved the water, and her love for it began at her grandparent's house in Wurtsboro Hills, where many summers were spent swimming and lifeguarding throughout her childhood and adolescence. Recently she found her passion in paddleboarding, where she was able to explore more her love for the water and surrounding nature in Georgia. She was an avid crafter and many of her friends and family were blessed to have received beautiful artwork created by her over the
years.
More than any interest she pursued, she loved her three children, Ryan, Brittany, and Sophia, and constantly expressed how proud she was of them. Whether it be rooting them on at sporting events throughout their lives, building families of their own, or pursuing their own dreams and passions, she loved and supported them along the way.
Glenne's outgoing personality always brought fun, life, and laughter to any event she attended.
She was loved deeply by friends and family and will be missed.
Glenne was proud of her French heritage, primarily due to her grandparents, André and Yvonne Caradec, whom they predeceased.
Glenne is predeceased by her father and mother, Glenn and Andrée Sherman, and survived by her brother, Henry Sherman, his wife Erin Sherman, and their daughter Shelbie of TX.
Glenne is also survived by her three children, Ryan Fuller and his wife Danielle Fuller of GA, Brittany Peabody and her husband Thomas Peabody of NY, and Sophia Gowans of NY; and three grandchildren, RJ, Carson, and Colton, with a fourth
grandchild on the way.
