Gloria Delp, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, in Temple, PA, surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 6, 1929, in Hatfield, she was the daughter of Walter K. Diehl and Bessie Mae (Royer). Gloria was the epitome of grace and dedication, balancing a fulfilling career as a stenographer with the joys and responsibilities of being a homemaker.
Her educational journey began at Hatfield High School, which laid the foundation for her studies at the Taylor School of Business in Philadelphia. Gloria's love for learning was matched only by her passion for family, which was evident in the way she embraced every moment spent with loved ones.
Gloria's legacy is carried on by her son, Douglas A. Delp, companion to Barbara Brown; her daughter, Bonnie J. Weeast, wife of David; and her adoring grandchildren—Ashley A. Koch, wife of Jason, and Alex E. Weeast, who is in a loving relationship with Caroline Foster and shares a special bond with her son, Clint Foster. The warmth of her family extends to her great-grandchildren, Owen, Abigail, and Austin, who brought immense joy to her life. Additionally, Gloria is survived by several nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her nurturing spirit.
Gloria was predeceased by her devoted husband, Donald Delp, and her siblings: brother Walter R. Diehl and sister Arlene Cohen (Diehl), each of whom played significant roles in her life.
The viewing for Gloria Delp will be held on July 7, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, located at 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple, PA, with the funeral service following from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
