Henry "Harry" John Olivieri Jr., a former professor and lawyer, passed away peacefully in San Diego, Calif., after a long illness. He was 72 years old.
Harry was born in Chicago on August 1, 1951. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois and a Law degree from St. Louis University.
Passionate about education, Harry spent many years teaching law and real estate at various institutions, while also practicing law in Chicago.
He was an avid collector of art, memorabilia, and rare objects, and was a proud supporter at the baptisms, confirmations, birthdays, and various other celebrations of his many nieces and nephews. "Uncle Harry" was known for his frequent and generous gifts, as well as his quick wit and sense of humor.
Harry was preceded in death by his father, Henry John Olivieri, and will be deeply missed by his mother, Ann Olivieri, sisters Carol Bruynell and Laura Evans (Chick Evans), and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
