Ned is survived by his wife, Tracy Ross, his two daughters, Tiffany McKenzie and Ericka Ross, and his granddaughter Lanaila McKenzie.
Ned is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Zayla McKenzie.
Ned played football for St. Augustine High School in '73 and '74, then went on to college where he played a linebacker position for Austin Peay State. Before he retired in 2003, Ned worked for Baker Pest Control for eleven years and Anastasia Mosquito Control for 15 years.
Ned enjoyed spending time with his family, taking family vacations, music and singing karaoke. Singing was his passion. Ned had a wonderful karaoke group that he was greatly fond of. He was a long-time member of the Elks Lodge. Ned donated to many children's foundations and was a very giving person to those less fortunate. He loved to make people laugh with his big sense of humor. Ned was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Ned will forever live in our hearts and our memories. He will truly & deeply be missed.

I lined up every day against Ned in football practice as a senior. I was new in SA and played one year.
Ned was a big guy but he had a soft heart.
