Our beloved Jacob Jamieson passed away unexpectedly on November 28, 2024. He was 34 years old.
Loved and missed by his mother, Lara Jamieson-Grimes; stepfather, Kenneth Grimes; brothers, Jimmy Jamieson and Jesse Jamieson; stepsister, Morgan Grimes; stepbrother, Logan Grimes; fiancee, Marianne Foster (daughter, Makiya).
Jake was accomplished in sports growing up, a two-time Ohio State wrestling Champion and had many achievements as a catcher in baseball for Tallmadge, Ohio, playing in the LLWS, Little League World Series. He very much enjoyed his work and was proud of his career as an electrician with BSE Lighting Solutions, based in Canton, Ohio.
Jake adored and rescued many kittens. He referred to himself as "CatDad." He always loved being outdoors, and was passionate about hunting, fishing and gardening.
Jake had the kindest of hearts, truly loved his family and would do anything he could for anyone who needed him. He will forever remain in our hearts.
A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, December 7, 2024, 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 5899 Manchester Rd., Akron, Ohio 44319
