James Martin Browning, 56, passed away at Autumn Ridge Healthcare on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
Marty was born August 15th, 1967 in Peru, Indiana to Jimmy and Eileen (Madden) Browning.
He graduated from Peru High School in 1986. He spent 14 years working for Dilling.
Marty loved his family and was looking forward to the arrival of 2 new granddaughters this Christmas holiday, his favorite time of year. He was always planning his next fishing trip and loved the beautiful state of Kentucky.
He is survived by his children; Craig (Breanne) Browning of Peru, Indiana, Taylor (Evan) Friedersdorf of North Manchester, Indiana, Tanner (Brody) Correll of Peru, Indiana, five grandchildren; Lorelei & Landon Browning, Carter & Eileen Correll, Daisy Friedersdorf, and a sister, Peggy McQuinn of Macy, Indiana.
Marty is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Betty Gentry.
A celebration of life will be held at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru from 2pm to 4pm on Friday, December 29, 2023. A funeral service will follow at 4pm with Don Browning officiating.

I only knew Marty for a couple of years, but he always addressed me as "friend". He was a very good hearted man and I enjoyed our few long weekends of fishing in MI and WI. Rest easy buddy.
