James "Jim" L. Teachworth of Louisville, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Norton Brownsboro Rd. He was born October 1, 1940 in Alma, MI were he worked as a journeyman pipe fitter for both Fischer Body in Lansing, MI, and Ford Motor Company in Louisville, KY retiring after 37 years. He loved working outdoors and gardening. He was a good friend and helped whereever he could. He raised two daughters and was a loving father, supporting them always. Jim will be remembered as a great father, friend, and lover of nature.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ora Teachworth and Carol VanBremen Teachworth and four brothers, Fred, Jack, Bruce, and Rollie.
He is survived by his two daughters, Cindy (Jim) Maurer, Bonnie Teachworth, and granddaughter, Elysia Maurer.
A celebration of life will be planned at a future date in Louisville with his many friends.

I'm sorry to hear of Uncle Jim's passing. He was a good uncle to me. He shared a love of animals with me when I worked at his Lansing Pet store. He was my favorite Uncle on Dad's side. I hope he is in a better place.
