Jean Louise Kvach (nee Mainzer), 94, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025. She was the beloved mother of; Deborah (Dennis) Clark, Jerry Kvach, the late Timothy Kvach, Mark (Vicki) Kvach, Barbara (the late Steve) Kandiko, the late David Kvach and Bonnie (Matt) Falish. Jean was a cherished grandmother of Diana (Matt), Dan (Chriss), Mark (Samantha), Timothy, Monica (Chris), Audrey, Evan and Joe. Great grandmother of Kaitlyn (fiancé Sean), Matthew, Brinley, Brooklyn and Oliver. She also leaves behind her sister, Ruth Terlaak.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents; Lawrence and Eunice Mainzer; husband Joseph F. Kvach; sons Timothy and David Kvach and three sisters.
Jean was a lifelong resident of Avon Lake. She graduated from Avon Lake High School in 1949. She met her future husband Joseph in high school. She and Joseph were high school sweethearts and married for 55 years.
She lived out her dream as a mother and homemaker. As a mother and homemaker with seven children, there were always fabulous baked goods being made and appreciated throughout the neighborhood. Her family meant everything to her. She loved spending time with family and friends. Jean was always a perfect hostess serving refreshments and desserts well into her 90's. She was also a devout catholic and had strong faith. Jean was an active parishioner of Holy Spirit Catholic church and a member of the Ladies Guild. She was an avid walker and walked several miles a day. Jean enjoyed exercising her mind solving crosswords and piecing together puzzles. She will be deeply missed for her genuine warmth, generosity and kind loving spirit.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Busch Funeral Home, 163 Avon-Belden Rd.,
Avon Lake, Ohio 44012. A funeral mass will be held Monday, July 21, 2025, at 10:00 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 410 Lear Rd.,
Avon Lake, Ohio, 44012. A Christian burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park, Ohio
