Jeanene was an amazing photographer, and always saw and captured the beauty of life and nature. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, spending time on Glen Lake, and most importantly, spending time with family and friends.
Jeanene was active in her church, Ascension Lutheran, and handled the Outreach program, their Facebook and Instagram pages, and so much more.
She is survived by her loving husband of thirty years, Joseph G. Maples and her much adored son Joseph A. Maples, loving brother Paul (Lori) George, sister Michaelene (Dennis) Soloway, loving mother-in-law Nona Maples, sister-in-law Sheila Maples, nieces and nephews Nicholas George (Laura Bleeker), Paul Johnson, Genna (Marcus) Harland, Natalie George and Lexi George, and great-nephews Liam and Isaac, many dear cousins and friends, and her red retriever Finn.
Jeanene is preceded in death by her parents Paul & Genevieve George, and sister Danielle Johnson, father-in-law Joe W. Maples, brother-in-law Allen Hagadon and many aunts & uncles.
Memorial services will be 11:00 am Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Ascension Lutheran Church, Macomb Twp., with 9:00 am visiting.
