Jeffrey Bartoszek passed away unexpectedly on Friday March 7, 2025, following a long battle with chronic illness. He was born in Bay City, MI to Edward and Mary Bartoszek. Jeff attended Northern Michigan University for his undergraduate studies. He earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Palmer School of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. More recently he was employed at Club Soda in Fort Wayne where he found tremendous support from both patrons and staff. Jeff had a passion for travel, especially to the beaches of Hawaii. He enjoyed playing soccer and had a deep passion for golf, inspired by his mother. Above all he cherished his time with friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary; his grandparents Mary and Rene Beauvais; and Frances and Edward Bartoszek. Jeff is survived by his father Ed; his sisters Jennifer (Jason) Madasz and Jill Foxworthy; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A gravesite remembrance will be held in Jeff's honor, at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday April 12, 2025 at St. Patrick Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Friday April 11, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association in Jeff's memory.
