Jeffery Dale "Jeff" Norrington

Jeffery Dale "Jeff" Norrington, 85, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Linda E. White Hospice House.
Jeff was born in Evansville, Indiana on March 3, 1940 to the late Harlan and Lorena (Neuber) Norrington. He was a 1957 graduate of Central High School and then graduated from Henderson Barber College. Jeff worked as a barber for his entire career spanning 66 years. He owned and operated Jeff Norrington's Barber Shop on North Main Street and various other locations throughout Evansville. Jeff and Judy were always out on an adventure. They loved to dance at the Eagles and were able to travel all over the world together. He loved to host parties and was an avid cook, especially famous for his baked ham. Jeff faithfully attended Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Jeff will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Jeff is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Downs; son, Christopher Norrington, both of Evansville, IN; granddaughter, Amy Jo Hall; special nieces; Julie and Jenny; and by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Jeff was preceded in death by his wife, Judith "Judy" Theresa (Tempel) Norrington in 2024; by his parents; and by his brother, Jerald H. Norrington.
A celebration of Jeff's life will be held at 9:00 am on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Browning Funeral Home and again from 8:00 am until service time at the funeral home on Friday.
