Jeff was born in Lenoir County to Claude and Elsie Eason Ormond on September 2, 1961. He was raised in Kinston and after graduating from Kinston High School he worked as a painter in the home improvement industry.
He is survived by his son, Alex Ormond.
In addition to his parents, Jeff is preceded in death by his sister, Claudette Robbins.
