Jerome F. "Jerry" Nett

Jerome "Jerry" F. Nett, age 59, of Fond du Lac, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024, following a brief illness.
He was born May 1, 1965, in Fond du Lac to the late Arnold Sr. & Lucille (Faul) Nett. Jerry attended grade school at Holy Cross in Mt. Calvary and at St. John's in Johnsburg. He attended New Holstein High School with the class of 1983. Jerry grew up in the rural Mt. Calvary area and eventually moved to Fond du Lac.
Jerry began his working career with Wagner Well Drilling and later with Badger Well Drilling. Most recently, he was a delivery driver for Bob & Bonnie's Bakery in Fond du Lac.
Some of Jerry's passions were playing basketball with the Mt. Calvary CYO and playing baseball in St. Cloud with his friends on the Cabaret team. He later managed his nephew's basketball team in Fond du Lac. He also enjoyed sturgeon spearing with his good friend, Mike Schaefer and helped his friend, Jeff Atkinson, with his pheasant farm.
Jerry is survived by his sisters, Pat Thuecks and Sharon Nett, both of Fond du Lac; his three sisters-in-law, Betty Nett of New Holstein, Diane Nett of Malone, and Rosemary Nett of Pocatello, ID. He is further survived by numerous nieces; nephews; great nieces; and great nephews, including his little buddy, Oscar Nett.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Arnold Sr. & Lucille Nett; his sisters, Ann (Bernie) Hoppe and Kathy (Greg) Klensch; his brothers, Arnold Jr. Nett, Joe Nett, Jim Nett, and John Nett; two nieces, Pam Thuecks and Lori Nett and a great niece, McKena Nett.
A Celebration of Jerry's life will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Shakey Joe's in Mt. Calvary (401 Fond du Lac Street, Mt. Calvary, WI 53057).
